Dirham Abbasid Caliphate. 780 A.С. Gavel conquered by the Arabs in Spanish Andalusia. Inscriptions on these dirhams made by using Kufi Arabic script. In the central part of both sides of the dirham placed lowercase legend containing pious sayings and names of rulers in mandatory circular legends of these coins — the continuation of the sayings and information about the place and the year of minting. In Аncient Russian written monuments, dirhams are known as kun and nogat.
